Set by the coast, this Southwold home is a refined, design-led space that we returned to on two separate occasions. Our first shoot focused on the kitchen by Nicholas Anthony, capturing the space as part of the wider architecture. We later returned to photograph the property for the owner, allowing us to document the house more fully and show how the kitchen sits within the overall flow of the home.
Both shoots focused on clean composition, light and how the spaces connect, from the kitchen through to the garden and pool room. The result is a calm, understated series of images that reflect the character of the house and its coastal setting.

Southwold is hard not to love: calm, coastal and incredibly well suited to the feel of the house. Inside, the space is minimal, with a strong palette of blues, which we loved for giving it a quirky yet luxury feel. The stainless steel kitchen works beautifully against the teal tone, with wall-to-floor cabinetry.
The layout flows well, opening out to both the garden and the pool room, which makes the space feel open without losing its sense of calm. It’s a home that feels easy to live in, and one we enjoyed coming back to.
